Former Ohio State wide receiver Michael Thomas is one of 14 Buckeyes players at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis this week and was measured today.
To be blunt, Thomas’ measurements are off the charts kind of ridiculous, and Bleacher Report’s Matt Miller immediately took to Twitter to discuss them.
Michael Thomas came in at 6'3, 212 lbs, 32 1/8" arms and 10 1/2" hands. Wow.

Long and lean, plus big hands. Thomas isn’t exactly in Calvin Johnson territory, but those measurements are still nothing to sneeze at. Moreover, it’s a testament to just how strong a receiver Thomas can be on the professional level. The former three-star talent from the Los Angeles area posted 113 catches for 1,602 yards and 18 touchdowns in three years in Columbus, and much of that can be attributed to his long arms and big hands.
Next up for Thomas are the individual workouts tomorrow and so long as he can impress there, then his NFL prospects are certainly going to be strong and his future bright.
