Jim Harbaugh had wrestling match with 2017 DT Phillip Paea

Jim Harbaugh raised the bar in recruiting by sleeping over at recruits’ homes, and the odd activities just keep on coming during such visits. According to a tweet from Brandon Justice of MaizeNBrew, Harbaugh recently visited 2017 three-star defensive tackle Phillip Paea and the two apparently had a wrestling match together.

This isn’t entirely a surprise, especially since Harbaugh is a big pro wrestling fan. He had two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair as a guest at Michigan’s epic National Signing Day event earlier this month and was also seen at Monday Night Raw in Detroit earlier this week. Harbaugh also said back in December that he would love for Wrestlemania to be held at Michigan Stadium in the future, so the man clearly loves his sports entertainment.

But having wrestling matches with recruits? That’s a bit much, if you ask me. Sure, it’s all fun and games if the recruit is also a wrestling fan, but it’s still getting a bit too friendly for some people’s taste.

Then again, it’s like the old saying says. Harbaugh’s gonna Harbaugh and there’s little we can do to stop him.
