Coach K called FSU’s Leonard Hamilton to apologize for Grayson Allen’s actions

Duke pulled out a W over Florida State Thursday night, but in controversial fashion. The center of the controversy was when Duke star Grayson Allen appeared to intentionally trip Xavier Rathan-Mayes of Florida State. Allen’s act occurred in the final seconds of the game, and as is fashion in this day and age, the video went viral and many voiced their displeasure with Allen’s actions.

Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski also expressed his displeasure, calling his counter part at Florida State Leonard Hamilton to apologize for Allen’s actions according to ESPN’s Andy Katz.

Duke ended up winning 80-65 at Cameron Indoor, so Allen was lucky enough to have escaped postgame wrath that would have surely occurred should the game have taken place in Tallahassee.
