The LSU Tigers had one of the best recruiting classes of 2016 and they are looking to build their 2017 class to be even better. They did just that on Saturday as they landed one of the country’s top outside linebackers.
Four-star linebacker Patrick Queen announced his commitment to the Tigers on Saturday and it looks like he is pretty committed to playing for the team next fall.
He spoke with 247Sports’ Sonny Shopp and talked about his decision to commit to LSU.
“I feel like it’s the right decision,” Queen said. “Me and my parents had been talking about it for a while and praying on it, and if the opportunity presented itself, I was going to make the most of it.
“I always wanted to play in Death Valley. And I always wanted to wear the purple-and-gold. My family lives in that area, so they will be able to watch me all the time.”
Queen is the 24th-ranked ATH in the country and the 13th-ranked player in the state of Louisiana.
