Report: NFL HC will put his star on Leonte Carroo

Former Rutgers wide receiver Leonte Carroo is one of the most underrated players in the 2016 NFL Draft and he will certainly make one team very happy. It looks like one NFL head coach is pretty excited after seeing what he can do at the NFL Scouting Combine.

According to NFL.com’s Bucky Brooks, one recently hired head coach talked about Carroo and said that he could be a big-time player in the NFL. The coach said that his team will definitely be watching him in the coming weeks and could be a player they take a chance on.

The Scarlet Knight missed some of the 2015 season while dealing with some off-field issues, but he still came on to make a big impact for the team. Carroo caught 39 passes for 809 yards and ten touchdowns in just eight games during the 2015 season, which put him on track to record over 1,000 yards.

If he is able to get past the off-field issues, Carroo has the chance to be a star in the NFL. Now it just comes down to if a team wants to take a chance on him.
