Reports: Rick Pitino gets testy again with Kentucky fans during game at Miami

Surely, this season must be stressing Rick Pitino out. Before the season even started, the Cardinals men’s basketball program was embroiled in controversy as allegations of on-campus sex parties involving protitution surfaced. Making those allegations even worse was the accusation that a then-member of Pitino’s staff facilitated said parties and the prostitutes/strippers.

That led to a self-imposed playoff ban by the University of Louisville, even as the team is ranked no. 11 in the AP poll.

Then during their game against Kentucky, Pitino allegedly flipped off UK fans while leaving the floor. Now, according to multiple reports, Pitino may have had a similar encounter with fans during today’s game in Miami.

Fans yelling at Pitino from behind the bench; Pitino yells right back.

I've been told by someone sitting courtside that Pitino did get into it with a fan earlier. Told fan to "shut the f*** up and sit down."

Pitino is a coach that has consistently been surrounded by controversy (some of it self-inflicted, remember his adultry scandal a while back?), and it seems that he is starting to lose control. But at least he doesn’t have to deal with it much this season much longer thanks to the ban.
