Quarterbacks, wide receivers and tight ends take center stage at Lucas Oil Stadium today as Day 2 of on-field workouts at the 2016 NFL Scouting Combine takes place.
One player that scouts will be keeping a close eye on is Ohio State Buckeyes standout Cardale Jones.
Before Jones stepped out onto the field, his former coach, Urban Meyer, stopped by the NFL Network booth to share his thoughts on the 14 former Buckeyes in Indianapolis.
When the discussion turned to Jones, Meyer had nothing but praise for the quarterback.
Meyer believes Jones is going to put on a show that will improve his draft stock.
Urban Meyer on Cardale Jones: "I think he's gonna kill it … This is gonna be his day. I think he's gonna move up in the draft today."

“I think he’s going to move up in the draft today. That’s coming from people who have told me that.” – Urban Meyer on Cardale Jones

Considering Jones already put up amazing numbers for the vertical jump, it’s safe to say that he’s off to a good start showing off his athleticism.
A very nice 36" vert for the 6'5 quarterback Cardale Joneshttps://t.co/4qVWMIX5RO
