Video: Don’t play H-O-R-S-E with Atlanta Hawks’ Mike Scott

Unless you’re a hardcore basketball fan, chances are you haven’t heard of Atlanta Hawks reserve forward Mike Scott, who was drafted out of Virginia in the second round of the 2012 NBA Draft. In last night’s game against the Chicago Bulls, Scott hit an insane trick shot that didn’t count after the whistle, but was still worthy of applause nonetheless.

Check it out in the video below!

Keep in mind that Scott has only averaged 7.6 points and 3.1 rebounds per game for his career, and he has never even participated in activities during NBA All-Star Weekend despite being a fairly dominant forward at Virginia.

But this trick shot is something else, even if a lot of its hitting had to do with dumb luck. Seriously, how many players can say that they know just how much pressure to put on the ball in order to dribble it that high so it goes in the hoop?

Either way, one thing is certain, ladies and gentlemen. Don’t challenge Mike Scott to a game of H-O-R-S-E anytime soon.
