Former Alabama defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson is one of the best players at his position in the 2016 NFL Draft. He will likely be one of the first to be drafted in April and he has shown why he is so dominant.
However, even for the best players there is always room for improvement. For Robinson, he believes that he could really boost his pass-rush by doing just one thing: stop playing “patty cake” with the offensive linemen.
A'Shawn Robinson on how he plans to improve his pass rush: "need to stop patty-caking with blockers and make a play."

During the 2015 season, where Robinson gained most of his notability, he recorded 46 tackles, 7.5 for loss, and 3.5 sacks. If he were to stop “patty-caking” as he says and start bum-rushing the line, he could probably double or even triple his sack total in just his rookie year in the NFL.
It’s hard to tell what he, or any of the Draft prospects, will be able to do this year, but Robinson is certainly one of the best players available. I think just his sheer size will be pretty intimidating.
