Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry is the talk of the NBA water cooler once again after sinking a ridiculous game-winning shot in overtime against the Oklahoma City Thunder last night, but New York Knicks team president Phil Jackson is not impressed.
The Hall of Famer and 13-time champion took to Twitter today to remind fans about another player, and his name will surprise you.
Never seen anything like SCurry? Remind you of Chris Jackson/ Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf, who had a short but brilliant run in NBA?

All I have to say is this. Phil, lay off the Zen books and the meditation. It’s starting to go to your head.
Don’t get me wrong, Abdul-Rauf was a decent enough player in his prime, having won the 1993 Most Improved Player trophy and leading the league in free-throw percentage twice. However, he was never as strong a leader as Curry, nor as strong a three-point shooter. He made only 35 percent of his threes for his career, while Curry has made 45 percent of his.
Oh, and then there’s the fact that Curry has a championship ring and an MVP trophy, neither of which Abdul-Rauf even sniffed once.
Sorry, Phil, but you missed badly on this one.
