Pitt students troll Grayson Allen with trip-themed signs

No. 15 Duke is currently playing Pittsburgh in basketball, and Pitt students are having a field day when it comes to trolling Duke star guard Grayson Allen.

You see, Allen found himself a subject of controversy earlier this week after tripping Florida State’s Xavier Rathan-Mayes, nearly drawing a suspension from the ACC as a result, and Laura Keeley of The Raleigh News & Observer posted the following picture to Twitter.

It’s understandable as to why Pitt would troll Allen, who also found himself in trouble for tripping Louisville’s Raymond Spalding earlier this season. It’s an important ACC game for both teams, with Pitt on the bubble and needing this win on its home court in order to improve its chances of making the upcoming NCAA Tournament next month.

That said, though whether Allen is a dirty player is a debate for another time, it’s going to be interesting to see how he handles the signs. Given how Duke currently trails Pitt 54-38 and has 13 points on just 4 of 9 shooting, perhaps the signs are doing their job to a certain degree.
