Kansas takes over No. 1 spot in latest AP Poll

After an epic week that ended with its 12th straight Big 12 regular season title, the Kansas Jayhawks have overtaken the No. 1 spot in the latest AP Poll. Villanova fell to No. 3 following its road loss to Xavier, while Michigan State jumped to No. 2 and Virginia and Xavier rounded out the Top 5.

Utah also made quite the jump, from No. 22 to No. 13 after a win over Arizona, with Sean Miller’s Wildcats falling from No. 9 to No. 18.
