Photo: U.S. Soccer unveils new crest

United States Soccer is getting a bit of a facelift. After days of speculation, the new U.S. Soccer crest was officially unveiled on Monday morning.

The new crest is a much cleaner look than U.S. Soccer has had in the past.

The old crest featured a soccer ball going through the letters “U.S.” with blue and white stripes. At the top of the old crest was a red stripe with three stars. The new crest simply features “USA” in a sharp blue text, with red and white stripes below.

The new crest will debut when the men’s team takes on Guatemala in March for World Cup qualifying.
