Rich Eisen sets new record in #RunRichRun

NFL Network analyst Rich Eisen has run the 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine annually since 2005, when fellow analyst and former Denver Broncos running back Terrell Davis challenged him to do so, and Eisen set a new personal best in Indianapolis this year in running the 40 in 5.94 seconds. That beat the previous record of 5.98 set in 2014.

Of course, Eisen made the run in a suit and video may be seen below!

Eisen’s run is also done not only for some laughs, but for charity. Eisen ran for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital this year, always a worthy cause.

Eisen’s previous 40-yard dash history is as follows:

2005- 6.77

2006- 6.22

2007- 6.43

2008- 6.34

2009- 6.34

2010- 6.21

2011- 6.18

2012- 6.03

2013- 6.03

2014- 5.98

2015- 6.10

Eisen himself certainly seemed ecstatic about his new time, and the run itself was only accentuated by his bright green sneakers.

And now the question presents itself. Can the 46-year-old Eisen set a new record again next year? Well, I guess we’ll just have to wait and see!
