UCF to host evening spring game

New UCF Knights head coach Scott Frost announced plans to host the program’s first evening spring game in April.

UCF is one of the last schools to announce the date of their spring game. The change is due, in part, to a scheduling conflict with the baseball program who is hosting USF the same day, in the afternoon.

The game will be played in April 17 at 7 p.m.

The school plans to bring in multiple attractions in addition to the game including food trucks, inflatable bounce equipment and various music and entertainment performances to precede the game. The whole day will be the first #UCFanFestival in honor of the baseball and football games. Admission is free but fans must reserve their tickets in advance online.

UCF hired Frost as head coach on December 1, 2015. The Knights were 0-12 in the 2015 season, 0-8 in the American Athletic conference.
