USC’s Su’a Cravens meets with 22 teams at NFL Scouting Combine

USC Trojans linebacker and safety Su’A Cravens had meetings with 22 teams at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis including the Dallas Cowboys, Pittsburgh Steelers and Miami Dolphins, according to NFL Network’s Rand Getlin.

A former four-star recruit from the Riverside, California area, Cravens seems to have caught the attention of quite a number of teams despite not having the best Combine performance. People raved about his athleticism on the field prior to his working out, but all of his performances in workouts fell in the middle of the pack.

Still, teams seem to be attracted to Cravens’ overall ceiling, and rightfully so. In three years with the Trojans, he posted 207 tackles (34.5 for a loss) with 10.5 sacks and nine interceptions. Cravens also had four forced fumbles and 16 pass breakups.

Long story short, though his Combine performance wasn’t the best, Cravens still passes the eye test for athleticism and should find some role in the NFL. It’s jus ta matter of which team decides to take a chance on him.
