Floyd Mayweather blown away by 15-year-old fighter

If there is anyone that knows about talent in the boxing ring, it is Floyd Mayweather, arguably the best boxer in the world today. He knows what it takes to be successful in the business and it seems that he is already looking for his successor in the boxing world.

Mayweather was at the W Hotel in Washington D.C. on a media tour when he stopped an interview to give a shout out to someone in the crowd. That someone happened to be Lorenzo “Truck” Simpson, a 15-year-old who is one of the best young fighters today.

“I see it, that kid can fight,” Mayweather shouted.

According to TMZ, Mayweather really likes the kid and thinks he has a future in the ring. He even said that he would like to work with Simpson when he gets older.

“[Truck] is a great amateur fighter. His is only 15 right now, but I look forward to working with him when he turns 18.”

If you don’t think Mayweather’s judgement of the kid is valid, just look at his highlight video.

Yeah, I think it’s safe to say that this kid is going to be something special.
