Kansas, Michigan State are co-favorites to win NCAA Tournament

The Kansas Jayhawks and Michigan State Spartans are the co-favorites to win the upcoming NCAA Tournament, according to the latest odds from Bovada. Kansas and Michigan State are both listed as having 5/1 odds and are trailed by North Carolina (9/1), Kentucky (10/1), Xavier (12/1) and Oklahoma (12/1).

It’s certainly no surprise that the Jayhawks and Spartans would be the favorites. Kansas has looked dominant from start to finish and has an experienced trio in Frank Mason III, Perry Ellis and Wayne Selden Jr. leading the Jayhawks in every way possible, and Kansas also just won its 12th consecutive Big 12 regular season title. With depth behind those three existing as well, it’s going to be hard to count out Kansas as a favorite to make the Final Four.

The same can be said for Michigan State, who made the Final Four as a No. 7 seed last year. Denzel Valentine is an incredible leader on offense and has a great supporting cast surrounding him, so the Spartans definitely must be viewed as a contender too.

That said, ladies and gentlemen, if you’re looking to lay some money down on the big dance, you can certainly do worse than either of these teams!
