FSU DT Keith Bryant reportedly broke foot doing drills

Florida State’s annual 4th quarter drills are intense workout sessions that help prepare the team for the upcoming year, but have also been known to produce some injuries.

On Thursday, head coach Jimbo Fisher announced defensive tackle Keith Bryant will miss spring after apparently breaking his foot during 4th quarter drills, according to NoleGameDay.

Bryant’s injury could be a blow to the Seminoles defensive line unit, as Gio Newberry and Nile Lawrence-Stample enter the NFL Draft. Coach Fisher and the rest of the Florida State staff will surely be working around the clock to ensure Bryant makes a full recovery in time to make an impact come fall. Bryant finished last year appearing in only one game, recording 4 tackles total.
