Binge-watching television shows has become part of our culture. It’s just par for the course at this point, with dinner and a movie being replaced with “Netflix and chill.”
Well, thanks to our friends at BroBible, we now have access to an infographic that shows what residents of each of the United States streams the most.
Check it out below!

It’s clear that our nation is largely split between a preference to dramas and comedies, and some of the top streamers are highly predictable, if not completely unsurprising. Pennsylvania prefers It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. New York rolls with Mad Men and New Mexico with Breaking Bad.
Just one question. How on earth is Georgia streaming The Bernie Mac Show the most? Keep in mind, that show went off the air in 2006 and Bernie Mac has been dead since 2008, so it’s not like he’s producing new material on a regional network that’s available on-demand.
Either way, on top of providing a fascinating insight into what Americans like to watch, this provides us with plenty of new shows to check out that we haven’t already.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go give Portlandia a shot.
