The Kansas Jayhawks will have to wait to get their starting quarterback back on the field.
According to the Lawrence Journal-World, Jayhawks QB Ryan Willis sustained an injury during a pick-up basketball game that will limit his participation in spring football.
The report states: “it is believed that he will still participate in various portions of spring practice including working on his drops, mental reps and other aspects that minimize the risk of contact.”
There are no specifics on how severe the injury is or how limited Willis will be.
However, it appears that he will be ready for the start of the season.
