Noah Spence angrily denies query about Ohio State drug use

One thing that has hurt former Ohio State and Eastern Kentucky defensive end Noah Spence’s draft stock is his trouble past. He was dismissed by the Buckeyes after the 2013 season when he tested positive for ecstasy.

He continued his career with the Colonels and has been hard at work to try and clear his past from the minds of NFL scouts. It looks like he had to defend himself against a comment on Twitter when one person said that Spence claimed he “wasn’t the only one” doing drugs will at Ohio State.

Now, whoever said that could have just been trying to get a rise out of him and get him to say something derogatory that would make him look even worse to some scouts. However, Spence was smart and made sure not to be reactive.

He may not have shown off his skills too much at the Combine last week, but he is at least showing his maturity and that’s a good thing.
