Made up of five men and seven women, the jury deliberated for seven hours following a nine-day trial. Andrews initially sued Michael David Barrett, the man who videotaped her via a secret peephole, but then added Marriott owner West End Hotel Partners and management company Windsor Capital Group to the lawsuit. She initially asked for $75 million. Barrett, who was sentenced to 2 1/2 years in prison for his actions back in 2010, is responsible for 51 percent of the sum while the hotel and management company will pay the rest.

Just how much of that money Andrews will actually see remains to be seen, especially since it can be reduced on appeal, but this is still a step in the right direction. Be sure to stay tuned to Campus Sports for any further updates!
