The Big Ten Wrestling Championships were held over the weekend in Iowa, and the University of Iowa’s Sammy Brooks managed to take home a championship in the 180-pound division.
After his victory, Brooks spoke with the Big Ten Network where he gave his thoughts on the victory, and credited a special part of his body: his hair. Brooks said his hair is what gives him trust in his abilities on the mat, and that the fans respect a good hair cut. It truly is incredible.

His program ultimately came in second place for the overall event, falling behind Penn State for the Big Ten Team Wrestling Championship. Still, it doesn’t take away from the amazing interview he gave.
