It looks like Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown will be the next of a long line of athletes to show off his dancing skills. It was rumored that he would be joining the popular ABC show “Dancing With The Stars” this summer and that has finally been confirmed.
According to the Steelers’ official website, Brown will appear on the show’s 22nd season this summer. He seems to be very excited for what he will be able to do on the show.
“It’s going to be a lot of fun,” Brown told Steelers.com. “It will give me an opportunity to showcase my overall talent and personality. I am going to have a lot of fun with it.”
Brown also claimed that he has been speaking with former Steeler Hines Ward about advice for the show. Ward, as many know, won the show with dance partner Kym Johnson in 2011.
He will be the 13th former or current NFL player to appear on the show and will join former quarterback Doug Flutie and Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller this season.
The show will return on Monday, March 21 at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
