Defensive end Joey Bosa had dinner with the Chargers. Could he be the next great pass rusher for the San Diego based team?

Joey Bosa has dinner with Chargers Thursday night

There is really no telling what could happen with the NFL Draft just around the corner, even with the number one selection all but locked up. However, it seems as though defensive end Joey Bosa could be pretty confident where he ends up.

Earlier on Thursday, it was reported that Jalen Ramsey could be the new favorite for the top pick in April. That leaves the San Diego Chargers with an interesting decision to make and it could end up being Bosa, which is probably why they ate dinner with him Thursday night, according to DraftInsider.net’s Tony Pauline.

Bosa has long been considered a top-five selection and if the Tennessee Titans were to go with Ramsey with their top pick, the Chargers will likely have to go with their second option in Bosa.

This likely wouldn’t be a bad thing for them, however. Joey Bosa is one of the most athletic players, despite his disappointing 40-yard dash time at the Combine.

He would give any defensive line a jolt almost immediately and he brings a real tough look to any defensive front. With 26 sacks, 13.5 in 2014, Bosa could go down as one of the best pass rushers to come out of this draft class.
