NFL Free Agency: Colin Kaepernick wants to play for Browns

On Thursday, it was reported that the Cleveland Browns were interested in trading with the San Francisco 49ers for quarterback Colin Kaepernick. Now it seems that the former second-round pick is reciprocating that same interest in the Dawg Pound.

According to multiple reports, Kaepernick is intrigued by the idea of playing for the Browns right now. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Kaepernick’s interest, citing respect for new head coach Hue Jackson.

Here's a sentiment not many have shared recently: Colin Kaepernick wants to play in Cleveland. Respects Hue Jackson. Browns-Niners talking.

In 2011, Jackson was head coach of the Oakland Raiders and there were reports then that he really liked Kaepernick and his potential for greatness in the NFL. It looks like Jackson could be getting his guy very soon.

If the Browns and Niners do work out a trade deal for Colin Kaepernick, where does this leave the former? Will the Browns still go with Jared Goff or Carson Wentz with the second overall pick in April’s Draft?

These questions are very interesting right now, but we will just have to wait a little while longer for any of them to be answered.
