NFL Draft 2016: Jalen Ramsey now favored to be No. 1 pick

Listen up, Jalen Ramsey. After the regular season ended, the Tennessee Titans had said they would likely contemplate trading out of the No. 1 slot and target a cornerback/defensive back.

If they got stuck with the first pick – oh the horror! – many thought that offensive tackle Larry Tunsil would likely be headed to Nashville.

Now it looks like that has changed. WalterFootball.com is reporting sources within the Titans organization are telling them that Florida State defensive back Jalen Ramsey has the eye of the Titans’ brass, and is the new favorite to be picked first overall, should they still have the pick.

Sources named Tunsil and Ohio State defensive end Joey Bosa as being the other contenders for the top pick.

Word is that Ramsey had phenomenal interviews at the combine, while Tunsil and Bosa did “ok,” according to WalterFootball.com’s sources. According to WalterFootball.com, the Titans are comparing Ramsey to cornerback greats such as Richard Sherman and Charles Woodson.

Heck, if you can get a Charles Woodson, you pick him. No matter if it’s No. 1,2 or 83.
