Michigan just upset Indiana in the quarterfinal of the Big Ten Tournament thanks to a time-expiring three-pointer by Kameron Chatman, whose shot from near the Michigan bench caused an explosion of a celebration.
Of course, Simon Kaufman of campus newspaper The Michigan Daily was able to position himself behind the Wolverines’ bench to take a video of the shot, and his footage of the celebration is phenomenal. Check it out!
The win was great for Michigan, who entered the tourney as a No. 8 seed and have now just beaten the Big Ten regular season champion in the Hoosiers. The Wolverines struggled most of the season due to star guard Caris LeVert being injured, so they entered the Big Ten Tournament on the wrong side of the bubble and needing a deep run in order to have a shot at making the NCAA Tournament next week.
Now, thanks to Chatman’s game-winning three-pointer, that goal becoming a reality is looking more likely.
