Fort Lauderdale earns the distinction of hosting first brawl of spring break

Spring break is a magical time, filled with drunken hook ups and sloppy nights of partying. It’s a week where the young future leaders of America can travel south and indulge themselves with reckless abandon on their parents’ dime before coming back to their sleepy college towns and pretend to be intent on becoming productive members of society.

And with that perfect storm of circumstances, many spring break destinations vie for the title of hosting the first massive brawl of the spring break season. Heading into the season, there are no shortage of favorites, with Panama City, San Padre and Daytona all likely picks. But turns out the testosterone was raging highest in Fort Lauderdale.

The large group of spring breakers congregate on the beach and a fight ensues that involves tens of combatants, including one young man who was wielding something that looked like a Bam Bam bat. However, Ft. Lauderdale police quickly rode in on horses with vibrant green clovers on their buttocks for St. Patty’s Day, which is very fitting.

Screw Donald Trump, these youngsters are who’s going to make America great again.
