Invicta FC 16 salaries: Roxanne Modafferi tops payroll with $13,000

Invicta FC 16 took place last Friday with Ayaka Hamasaki retaining her Invicta atomweight championship and Jennifer Maia claiming the interim flyweight title. However, it was mixed martial arts veteran Roxanne Modafferi who came away as the big winner.

On Monday, the fighter payouts for the event were disclosed and Modafferi led the payroll with $13,000 in earnings on the night.

Jessamyn Duke, who is still under contract by the UFC, earned $10,000 for her loss to Mexican women’s bantamweight prospect Irene Aldana, who also earned $10,000 on the night.
