Alabama linebacker Reggie Ragland has been busy this draft season, holding his first private workout Friday and another one scheduled for Tuesday. Of course, he is widely projected to be a first round pick, so it’s no surprise he is in such high demand.
Last Friday Ragland worked out for the Chicago Bears and now has the AFC South’s eye as he will be working out for the Indianapolis Colts Tuesday. Picking Ragland would provide a further boost to Chicago’s linebacking corps, as the Bears just signed linebacker Danny Trevathan.
“I think I did well on the field and did some good things in the drills he does with his linebackers,” Ragland said Monday. “They wanted to hear me talk football and talk about the types of things they run against teams.”
Ragland also has more team visits scheduled with the Minnesota Vikings, Buffalo Bills, Jacksonville Jaguars and Baltimore Ravens.
