Sports are a tradition in some families. I learned from an early age that Super Bowl Sunday, MLB Opening Day and other events were to be considered the holiest of days, and NBC Sports’ Rob Dauster is getting his family started early as well.
In a video posted to YouTube, Dauster’s six-month-old son can be seen making bracket picks ahead of today’s NCAA Tournament kickoff. Check it out!
Dauster wrote a short post about his son’s participation in one of the most exciting times of the year and though he was sure to make fun of the child picking two No. 16 seeds to make the Sweet Sixteen, it’s still nice to see him getting his son involved early.
You see, sports fanaticism is something you’re born into and it’s on each generation to pass the fandom down, not to mention traditions of filling out a bracket or buying Super Bowl boxes. And now that this experience is on video, perhaps Dauster’s son will also one day get his children involved early as well.
