Ravens CB Tray Walker in critical condition

Baltimore Ravens cornerback Tray Walker is fighting for his life after being injured in a motorcycle accident on Thursday night.

The 23-year old Walker crashed at the intersection of Northwest 21st Avenue and Northwest 75th Street in Miami-Dade. According to police, he was rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center. There has been no mention as to what caused the crash.

Walker was a fourth-round pick of the Ravens in the 2015 NFL Draft. He played in eight games with Baltimore last season, recording two tackles.

Police will release more information at a later time. Campus Sports will pass along that update when it becomes available.

As far as the team he plays for, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh released a statement via the team that sums up everyone’s thoughts on the matter.

“Oh my God,” he said. “This is devastating news. Our prayers and hopes are with Tray and his family tonight.”
