Indiana appears quite happy that Michigan State lost

The No. 2 Michigan State Spartans saw their national championship dreams come to a much too-early end this year after suffering a stunning loss to the No. 15 Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders in the opening round of this year’s NCAA Tournament and while MTSU is happy, Indiana appears much happier.

In pictures posted to Twitter, the Hoosiers can be seen reacting to the Spartans’ stunning loss with big smiles on their faces. Check it out!

It’s no wonder that Indiana would react in such a way, especially since they play in the Big Ten along with Michigan State. On top of that, the Hoosiers lost to the Spartans 88-69 in their sole matchup this year, and now the possibility of the two playing again in the Elite Eight is dead in the water.

However, Indiana’s path to a championship is far from clear. They play No. 4 Kentucky tomorrow for a spot in the Sweet Sixteen, so don’t be shocked if these smiles soon get turned upside down.
