Miami celebrates win over Wichita State

The Miami Hurricanes were the first team to clinch its spot in the Sweet 16 of the 2016 NCAA Tournament.

As per what many have come to expect from the ‘Canes, they decided to celebrate the win in grand fashion by going absolutely crazy. The team’s official Twitter account released a video of the players going bananas before head coach Jim Larrañaga could even get a sentence in.

And just like the game on Saturday, it was guard Angel Rodriguez at the front and center of the celebration fresh off his 28-point performance against Wichita State.

It may only be a nine-second long video, but it shows just how much the win means to the program. The school has never made it to the Elite 8, but they have a chance to do so for the first time next week when they face the winner of Sunday’s matchup between No. 7 Iowa and No. 2 Villanova.
