The opening round of the 2016 NCAA Tournament had its fair share of buzzer beaters and wild upsets, but one conference that was able to avoid the madness for the most part was the ACC.
Following the conclusion of the first round and in anticipation of the second round this weekend, the records for each conference show the ACC was the top dog and is on track to have an incredible performance in the Big Dance.
The Pac-12, meanwhile, mightily struggled throughout the tournament’s first 48 hours.
The Big 12 also had a rough outing, watching West Virginia, Baylor, Texas Tech and Texas all fall out of the tournament.
