TruTV tweets middle finger to fan

Everyone knows that TruTV’s viewership goes up for a few days every year because of the NCAA tournament. Even the commercials they play during admit that they want to keep those who tune in solely to watch basketball.

Even with that acceptance, viewers should know that the network still isn’t going to take kindly to jabs at their expense. Especially incorrect ones.

One Twitter account found that out the hard way when it decided to try and mock the network’s ratings with a chart that shows “Interest over time.” It looks like a chart that shows a clear spike in ratings for the network at a certain time of year. However, TruTV didn’t like the unnecessary jab too much.

This lead to a response from the user complaining about getting a middle finger over a “factual graph”. The network, however, was quick to point out that the graph used had nothing to do with network viewership.

ZING! It just goes to show that the old saying is true, “If you can’t take the heat, stay out of the kitchen.”
