Report: Browns considering Robert Griffin III deal

It looks like former NFL Rookie of the Year Robert Griffin III could be resuming his career with the Cleveland Browns.

After reports initially surfaced regarding a potential marriage between the two sides, there is now a belief that the Browns are actually internally discussing a potential deal with the former Washington signal-caller.

Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reported Browns officials told local media that any Colin Kaepernick trade talks are off and Griffin, who is now a free agent, seems to be the most realistic target.

The report goes on to state that the media over-reported any interest in Kaepernick. However, the Browns have been working hard and doing their due diligence regarding the potential addition of Robert Griffin III.

If Griffin signs with Cleveland, could that alter the Browns’ plans in the 2016 NFL Draft? It will be interesting to watch everything play out.
