Video: 5-star WR does insane box jump

Donovan Peoples-Jones is a five-star wide receiver in the Class of 2017 and for someone still in high school, his athleticism borders on freakish. In a video posted to Twitter by Chris Huff, a fitness instructor in Peoples-Jones’ hometown of Detroit, the young prospect can be seen doing an insane 55-inch box jump.

Check out the video below:

Peoples-Jones currently attends the Motor City’s Cass Technical High School and has excellent size for his position, especially at his age. He is 6-foot-2, 190 pounds and has offers from a great number of schools including Alabama, Michigan, Florida, Michigan State, Ohio State and Clemson, among others.

Per 247 Sports, the Spartans and Wolverines appear to be the favorites to land Peoples-Jones with Ohio State and Florida not far behind in the race. It’s really anybody’s game at this point despite those two schools being the favorites.

And given how not many people of Peoples-Jones’ age can do a box jump of this epic nature, the recruiting efforts surrounding him should soon amp up. Fast.
