On Tuesday, the Dallas Cowboys signed free agent running back Alfred Morris. While Morris teaming up with Darren McFadden gives the Cowboys an impressive duo in the backfield, everyone seemed to be wondering if Morris’ signing delivered a death blow to the possibility of Ezekiel Elliott to Dallas.
Well, if you are a fan of the Cowboys that was hoping to see the Ohio State star in Big D, there is still a chance.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones commented on the team’s draft strategy and indicated the signing of Morris has changed nothing in the war room.
Jerry Jones was quick to emphasize that signing Alfred Morris in NO way affects what they will do in the draft and with pick 4

So there’s still a chance Elliott could be the pick.
However, the more logical selection would by Florida State defensive back Jalen Ramsey (if he is available) or Myles Jack of UCLA; both players who could immediately upgrade the Dallas defense.
We will have to wait until April 28 in Chicago to see exactly what Jerry Jones and company have up their sleeves.
