The Gonzaga Bulldogs may have entered this year’s NCAA Tournament picture like a lamb, but have played like a pride of lions thus far. Coach Mark Few’s squad has proven that it deserves to be in the big dance despite only receiving an automatic bid this season, and is now on the verge of making the Elite Eight for the second year in a row.

Still, since blowing the rest of the competition in the West Coast Conference (WCC) Tournament out of the water, the Bulldogs have played like a Top 5 squad. It’s just a reality.
That said, let’s dig a little deeper into what has become a favorite elite midmajor program of a number of college basketball fans and see just how the Bulldogs match up compared to other Power 5 teams.
