J.J. Watt hosted 20 teammates at his Wisconsin cabin for his birthday

Houston Texans star defensive end J.J. Watt has raised the bar in how to spend an offseason.

In a post that can be seen on his Instagram, plus more details in a tweet from ESPN’s Tania Ganguli, Watt invited 20 of his teammates to his cabin in Wisconsin so they could not only celebrate his 27th birthday, but so they could train together.

It’s quite the setup that Watt has at his cabin, if we can even call it that anymore.

Last I checked, going to someone’s cabin meant spending some time in the great outdoors, somewhat isolated from civilization and enjoying nature, with maybe some hunting, fishing or canoeing as an added bonus.

Not in Watt’s house, apparently. Go to his cabin, and you can look forward to a huge practice field and what looks like a manly lunch gathering. Needless to say, having a six-year, $100 million contract like Watt’s certainly has its perks!
