The Houston Astros are currently holding spring training in the Orlando area, and some of the players found a fun way to beat the heat while pitcher Scott Feldman was being interviewed during a game.
As can be seen in the video below, a group of players congregate around Feldman with their heads wrapped in towels, and they’re wearing sunglasses to boot.
Of course, Feldman referred to his teammates as “ninjas” and appeared to take it all in stride.

And the video-bombing bar has been raised once again. In the past, a shaving cream pie in the face would have sufficed. In other circumstances, a Gatorade shower would have been acceptable.
But screw those approaches now. If I’m a baseball player today and am being interviewed during the game, give me baseball ninjas who will silently bring me a drink while I’m on camera so I may reward them accordingly.
Needless to say, the Houston Astros have found an awesome way to beat the hot Florida sun, so other teams should take notes.
