Michigan AD Warde Manuel has finally commented on the war of words that has gone on this week between his program, namely coach Jim Harbaugh, and Ohio State AD Gene Smith, and what Manuel said to reporters implies that everything has since settled down.
Angelique S. Chengelis posted Manuel’s comments on the situation to Twitter.

Manuel calls the situation a "one and done". Said he spoke briefly to Harbaugh.

This hailstorm all started when Smith spoke of Harbaugh’s holding a week of spring practice at Florida’s IMG Academy and mentioned it as a means of “jump-starting” the Wolverines program, and Harbaugh responded as follows:
Good to see Director Smith being relevant again after the tattoo fiasco. Welcome back!

Former Ohio State players like Ezekiel Elliott and Michael Thomas then started trolling Michigan on Twitter, so the situation quickly got out of hand. The good news is that Manuel appears to have spoken to all parties involved and put a cap on it today. It was a brief misunderstanding because something got lost in translation, it’s settled and now it’s over.
Just the same, it should make the annual regular season finale between Michigan and Ohio State quite the chippy matchup!
