Michigan releases hype video for upcoming football season

Michigan football experienced quite the turnaround in its first season under former Stanford and San Francisco 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh, so it’s only fitting that the program released an incredible hype video to wind fans up for the 2016 season.

The video, which was posted to the official Twitter of Michigan football, may be seen below.

Wolverines fans, start your engines! Michigan has a lot to be excited about in 2016 after going 10-3 (6-2 Big Ten) and defeating Florida in the Citrus Bowl. The Wolverines also held opponents scoreless in three consecutive games, a testament to how much of a step forward they took under Harbaugh.

On top of having some key players from last year’s roster returning, namely tight end Jake Butt, Michigan also had an excellent recruiting season and added the Class of 2016’s No. 1 recruit in defensive tackle Rashan Gary. Michigan also added running back Kareem Walker and quarterback Brandon Peters.

And Michigan should be in a position to make quite a bit of noise in the 2016 season, even if defensive coordinator D.J. Durkin did leave to become the head coach at Maryland.
