The Oklahoma Sooners pulled off a huge win over the Oregon Ducks to get back to the Final Four for the first time since 2002. They will now face off against the Villanova Wildcats next Saturday for a spot in the national championship and former Oklahoma football coach Barry Switzer seems to be pretty confident in the Sooners’ chances.
Switzer actually took to Twitter ahead of the Villanova game and hoped that “history would reverse itself” when the Kansas Jayhawks faced off against the Sooners in the Final Four.
Can history reverse itself? 1988 OU beat KU 3 consecutive times but lost in finals of NCAA!OU has lost 3 to KU so OU beats KU in 4th game???

After the Wildcats beat the Jayhawks, Switzer had to correct himself. He took back to Twitter and showed off his confidence in the Sooners.
Hell will never know now!!! I guess we'll take solace in kicking Villanova's ass!!!

Maybe Switzer knows a little about this season’s history. The Sooners beat up on the Wildcats 78-55 back in December, so it’s pretty telling about their matchup next Saturday.
This is certainly a Barry Switzer thing for Barry Switzer to say.
