If you follow the career of J.R. Smith at all, you know he loved playing for the Knicks in New York, and the postgame treatment he got after his present team the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Knicks is a perfect example why.
After finishing the game with 13 points on 5-for-11 shooting, Smith was greeted by wild child singer Miley Cyrus, who must have been pretty impressed by those 13 points. The “Wrecking Ball” singer waited for no one as she pulled Smith aside for some photos, and was pretty forward, already asking questions without even a hello.
In case you can’t read lips she said, “what are you doing after the game?”
Such a hard life, that of a mid-tier NBA star. I guess it’s a nice consolation after being sued for $2.5 million after allegedly choking a teen after refusing to take a picture with him.
Is this what you would call karma?
