Tennessee Titans GM Jon Robinson appeared on NFL Network today and said that he would trade the No. 1 overall pick if it meant Titans could move down in the draft and also land more picks. Robinson’s comment was posted to Twitter by NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport.
Jon Robinson on @nflnetwork: "If it's stick & pick at 1 if a trade doesn't work (fine). If we can move down & acquire picks, we'll do that"

Now, Robinson’s comments could mean one of two things. Either the Titans aren’t really sold on anyone at the top of the big board this year, or Robinson is simply trying to get an idea of how much some teams would be willing to pay for the No. 1 overall pick, highly coveted by many.
If you were to ask this writer’s opinion, it is probably the latter option. Tennessee has its quarterback of the future in Marcus Mariota, courtesy of last year’s second overall pick, and the Titans are now in a position to draft him some protection at the top in Ole Miss tackle Laremy Tunsil.
That said, with the NFL Draft just a few weeks away, expect further speculation to keep on coming regarding Jon Robinson and the Titans’ first overall pick.
And, of course, be sure to stay tuned to Campus Sports for further updates on this story!
