Villanova seniors kiss court after final practice

The Villanova Wildcats made an unsuspected run through the NCAA Tournament and to the Final Four this year. They face off against the Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday for a spot in the national championship game and after their final practice on Wednesday, seniors Ryan Arcidiacono and Daniel Ochefu decided to give the court one final sendoff.

The two lone seniors laid down on the floor and kissed midcourt logo as it is the final time they will be on the court until after this weekend’s festivities. If they return back to The Pavilion with a national championship in tow, I think it would pretty safe to say the two seniors would be stepping back onto the court at least once more.

The Wildcats are playing in their first Final Four since 2009, so it is pretty safe to say that everyone is excited for what they have a chance to do Saturday. Arcidiacono and Ochefu have both been big pieces for Villanova, especially this year.

Arcidiacono was named the Big East Player of the Year in 2015 and this year as averaged 12.3 points, 4.3 assists and 3.1 rebounds per game. Ochefu has averaged 10.2 points and 7.6 rebounds per game this year.

The Wildcats look to get to the national championship game for the first time in over 30 years as they face off against the Sooners on Saturday at 6:09 p.m. EST on TBS.
